DEPARTMENT: Behavioral Health & Recovery
JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant will provide complex administrative and clerical support to the Problem Gambling Program. Responsibilities include composing and preparing business correspondence; greeting and assisting guests; answering, screening, and returning telephone calls; responding to email inquiries; and providing information regarding program services and operations. The position maintains organized and efficient records management systems, coordinates and updates appointment calendars, and prepares meeting agendas and minutes. The Problem Gambling Assistant also assists with special events, program activities, and other functions to support the effective operation of the department.
COMPENSATION: $21.48
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- One (1) year working with diverse cultures, specifically Native American.
- One (1) year experience working with HIPAA and confidentiality matters.
- One (1) year of computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
SKILLS TESTING
- Typing- 30WPM
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- WA State Driver License.
- Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulation. (Abstract Required)
- Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray.
- CPR/BLS Certificate. *Will allow thirty (30) to obtain.
- HIPAA certification upon hire.
- Must abide by departments vaccination policy and will need to provide up-to-date immunization records as part of the credentialing process.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a Regular Full-time position.
