DEPARTMENT: Grounds Maintenance
JOB SUMMARY: The Technician I will provide grounds maintenance of all Tribal Government entities. Maintain flowerbeds by watering, weeding, and raking. Empty trash receptacles around tribal grounds and dispose of properly. Operate walk behind mowers, blowers, power trimmers, and other power tools necessary to maintain the tribal ground.
COMPENSATION: $21.43 hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Commercial grounds maintenance experience using commercial mowers, equipment, and tools as well as maintaining commercial equipment and tools preferred.
- Experience working with chemicals and/or pesticides used for landscaping preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- Must complete an Agility Exam to determine if physically capable of performing the job
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position.
