DEPARTMENT: Behavioral Health
JOB SUMMARY: Adult Mental Wellness Associate Therapist will work under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, providing culturally competent mental wellness counseling services for the Tulalip community. The therapist will offer and provide counseling services from a strength-based empowerment model.
COMPENSATION: $33.27
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field with a focus on mental health counseling.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Six (6) months of experience related in providing mental health counseling services to adults, couples, and families.
- Experience working with Native American/Alaskan Native populations preferred.
- Experience working with people experiencing crisis preferred
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- WA State Driver License. (Personal Auto Insurance)
- Mental Health Counselor License. *Will allow one (1) year to obtain.
- CPR/BLS certificate.
- Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray.
- HIPAA certification upon hire.
- Must abide by departments vaccination policy and will need to provide immunization records.
- Must complete a Tulalip Health System pre-onboarding credentialing prior to start date.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a Contracted position.
