DEPARTMENT: Elder Services
JOB SUMMARY: The Elder Services Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative, clerical, and case management support to the department. This position performs complex office duties including composing business correspondence, managing communications, maintaining organized records systems, and assisting with special projects for Elder Services. Serve as the primary point of contact for Elder Services, while demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Provides support to the Case Managers by assisting with case management activities, advocating for clients with outside agencies and service providers and helping coordinate services for elders and vulnerable adult clients. The position will transport elders and clients for day, and overnight trips as needed.
COMPENSATION: $23.25hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Two (2) years of experience working with confidential information and documents.
- Two (2) years of working experience with Tribal Policies and Procedures.
- One (1) year of computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office Programs.
- One (1) year of experience in customer service.
- One (1) year of experience working in an office environment.
SKILLS TESTING
- Typing 25 WPM
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- WA State Driver’s License (Personal Auto Insurance)
- Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulation. (Abstract Required)
- Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray.
- Food handlers Permit. *Will allow Thirty (30) days to obtain.
- CPR/First Aide Certification. *Will allow Two (2) months to obtain.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position.
