DEPARTMENT: Community Health



 



 



JOB SUMMARY: The Director will provide strategic and operational leadership to Tulalip Tribes for patient support and health administration issues. Lead and direct patient support programs and services including community health, patient services, prevention education, special needs, and organizational effectiveness. Develop and implement short-term and long-range goals. Prepare and administer departmental budget(s). Contribute to the Health Services Management Team. Promote Tulalip Tribes as a Sovereign nation as well as a professional, culturally vibrant, and healthy community.



 



 



COMPENSATION:  $52.88



 





MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Health Administration, of Social Work or related field.

  • Master’s degree preferred.



 



 



MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE




  • Seven (7) years of Management experience

  • Seven (7) years of experience working in patient-centered care.

  • Seven (7) years of experience in departmental financial management, creating and maintaining budgets.

  • Seven (7) years of experience working with diverse cultures, specifically Native Americans.

  • Experience with grant writing preferred.



 



 



REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES




  • Valid Driver’s License. (Personal Auto Insurance)

  • Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations (Abstract Required)

  • CPR/First Aid Certificate.

  • Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray.

  • HIPAA certification upon hire.

  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.



 



 



TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  This is a Regular Full-time position.
