DEPARTMENT: Behavioral Health

JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Child, Youth & Family (CYF) Senior Clinical Supervisor, the CYF Therapist will provide culturally competent mental wellness counseling services for the Tulalip community. Provide counseling services from a strength-based perspective to support and empower children and their families in managing life challenges.

COMPENSATION:  $DOE

The Signing Bonus is paid out in two installments:

• 1^st installment of the bonus is paid on your FIRST paycheck.


• 2^nd installment of the bonus is paid after successful completion of your 90 day probationary period.

Eligibility:

• Signing bonuses are for select positions only and will be indicated on the job posting.


• Current Employee department transfers are not eligible for signing bonus.


• Any former Employee who has resigned or been dismissed within the past 12 months is not eligible for a signing bonus.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or closely related Behavioral Science field with a focus on Mental Health Counseling.

MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE

• One (1) year of experience providing Mental Health Counseling services to children and their families.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES

• WA State Driver’s License. (Personal Insurance)


• Must have a current associate licensure through the WA State Department of Health as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC or LMHCA), or current independent licensure through the WA State Department of Health as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.


• Qualified as a Mental Health Professional (MHP).


• Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray.


• CPR/First Aide Certificate.


• Must abide by the departments vaccination policy.


• Must complete HIPAA training upon hire.


• Must complete required Health Services credentialing process prior to start date.


• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  This is a Contracted position.
