DEPARTMENT: Grants & Self-Governance
JOB SUMMARY: The Manager provides efficient and effective management of all grants and self-governance funding operations and resources for Tulalip Tribes. The Manager will serve as a leader within the department and is responsible for motivating and guiding a high-performing grants team. The Manager will work closely with departments to ensure there are successful relationships and partnerships in regard to current grants and future opportunities. This position will also be the lead on complex grant projects.
COMPENSATION: $41.06 hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or similar field. * Relevant Experience may substitute for degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- Master’s Degree in Finance or similar field preferred
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Five (5) years of experience working with and managing grants, which includes;
- Grant application process, Contracts,
- Award documents, Special Terms and Conditions,
- Budget development, securing financing,
- Modifications, Reports and reporting requirements.
- Five (5) years of experience with MUNIS
- Four (4) years of supervisory experience.
- Four (4) years of experience working with tribal, federal, and foundational agencies.
- Two (2) years of experience working with BIA, IHS Self-Governance Compacts, & Funding Agreements
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- WA State Driver License. (Personal Auto Insurance required)
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular full-time position.
