DEPARTMENT: Recovery Solutions
JOB SUMMARY: The Outreach Specialist will work alongside the recovery-oriented divisions to serve members of the recovery community and those currently struggling with substance use disorder. This position will foster a healing and supportive environment. This position will work on a team to be available at the Recovery Resource Center for those who walk through the door while conducting other activities during the week that support our community’s recovery from substance use disorder.
COMPENSATION: $23.25 hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Two (2) years of experience in recovery from substance abuse and/or relevant experience working with people who suffer from substance use disorder (SUD).
- One (1) year of experience working in an office environment
- Six (6) months of experience of case management and working with an efficient filing and case management system.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- WA State Driver’s License.
- Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulation. (Abstract Required)
- CPR/First Aid certificate.
- Food Handlers card/permit upon hire
- HIPAA certification upon hire
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a contracted position. Renewal is based on grant funding.
