DEPARTMENT: Massage Therapist
JOB SUMMARY: The Massage Therapist will be part of a comprehensive health and wellness system caring in culturally appropriate ways addressing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our clients. The Tulalip Health System focus on the entire person, and have an integrative, patient-centered, multidisciplinary health team of dedicated professionals whose primary mission is to provide the best possible care to our tribal members and community. This position treats patients with massage/reiki techniques to help clients live a healthier and pain free lifestyle.
COMPENSATION: $41.06hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Massage Therapy School.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Three (3) years of experience working as a licensed Massage Therapist.
- One (1) year of experience working with electronic medical records and scheduling programs.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- Current license with the state of Washington as a Massage Therapist.
- Current Reiki certification.
- BLS Certification.
- Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray
- Must abide by the departments vaccination policy.
- HIPAA certification upon hire.
- Must complete required Health Services credentialing process prior to start date.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a Part-Time Contracted position.
