DEPARTMENT: Wellness Court
JOB SUMMARY: The Case Manager will actively monitor Wellness Court participants and reports compliance/non-compliance to the Court and the team. Serves as a case manager for Wellness Court programs as assigned, providing guidance and assistance to program participants in overcoming obstacles to progress. May provide community supervision by means of conducting home and employment visits, if authorized to do so. Conducts risk and needs assessments and makes appropriate referrals for community-based services.
COMPENSATION: $27.62hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Human Services, Public Health, Public Administration, Court Administration or related field. *Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Three (3) years of experience in case management and/or field work in; addiction, human/family services, health services, public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or courts.
- Three (3) years of computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience working with Tribal Courts or Tribal communities preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- WA State Driver’s License.
- Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations (Abstract Required)
- Complete a Basic Community Supervision/Probation Academy of at least 80 hours. *Will allow one (1) year to obtain.
- Must not be on probation or in any court programs related to criminal case(s).
- No pending or criminal convictions related to drug and/or alcohol, within the past five (5) years.
- No restrictions on your ability to carry or use a firearm; such as being named as a respondent on a protection order, restraining order, or anti-harassment order.
- Must adhere to The Tulalip Tribal Court Ethics- Code of Conduct Court Employees Policy.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a contracted position.
