JOB SUMMARY:  The Video Producer/Director is a senior creative team member of the Tulalip TV Division. A Video Producer/Director works independently with minimal supervision to tell complex stories about Tulalip locally, regionally and nationally. This position uses video as a medium to elevate the challenges and triumphs of Tulalip Tribes in order to educate, inspire and influence diverse audiences that include Tulalip citizens, Tulalip employees, non-native allies and residents of the Tulalip reservation. This position will write, produce, direct, record, and edit video content for both internal and external messaging at a professional level. Directs and technical directs live event productions, including multi-camera and live-streamed content. Provides technical support, training, and mentorship to others within the division. This position must develop a deep understanding of Tulalip’s treaty, constitution and laws to both understand and disseminate complex ideas to audiences without specialized education. The Video Producer/Director demonstrates consistently high proficiency with the necessary video presentation and storytelling skills.



 



COMPENSATION:  $41.06 hr.



 





MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION




  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field * Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis





 



MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE




  • Five (5) years of experience as producer or director in a full-time professional video production environment

  • Five (5) years of experience using the Adobe Creative Suite in a full-time professional video production environment



 



SKILLS TESTING




  • Adobe Suite Proficiency



 



REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES




  • Demo reel or portfolio of previously produced video content prior to interview

  • WA State Driver License (Personal Automobile Insurance Required)

  • Ability to acquire a federal drone license

  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check



 



TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  This is a regular full-time position.
