DEPARTMENT: HUD
JOB SUMMARY: The HUD Director will lead and direct the daily operations of the department. Will guide and supervise a team of managers, train and implement trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices. Meet regularly with the Housing Services Executive Director, the Chief Executive Officer, and the Tribal Council to implement a strategic plan, monitor the budget, review program operations, and initiate discussions and resolutions on any problems or compliance areas. Work with grant writers to ensure that all requests are consistent with the strategic plan and that budgets are consistent with agency guidelines.
COMPENSATION: $45.99 hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field. *Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Seven (7) years of management experience, in a either a tribal, public, or federally assisted programs.
- Seven (7) years of experience in the development of housing operations, pre-development, grant funding applications, construction oversight, and property management plan.
- Seven (7) years of experience in project management, public relations, technical assistance, and/or consulting in the areas of affordable housing or related public programs.
- Five (5) years of experience with financial management, including grant administration, creating and managing budgets.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- WA State Driver’s License. (Personal Automobile Insurance)

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position.
