DEPARTMENT: Community Health
JOB SUMMARY: Registered Nurse or will work as part of the Community Health nursing team to provide support to the Community Health Program, in accordance to their scope of practice. Will act as patient advocate as well as support the clinical, administrative and billing efforts of the Community Health department. Participates in planning and coordination of care for Tulalip Tribal Members and other eligible community members residing in Snohomish County.
COMPENSATION: $DOE
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Nursing preferred.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Three (3) years of experience working as a Registered Nurse.
- Two (2) years of experience working in Community Health or related field preferred.
- One (1) year of experience working with Electronic Health Records.
- One (1) year of experience working with diverse cultures, specifically Native Americans preferred.
- Experience working as a Home Health Registered Nurse preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- WA State Driver’s License. (Personal Auto Insurance)
- Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulation (Abstract Required)
- Current and unrestricted Washington State Registered Nurse license
- Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray.
- Current BLS Certificate.
- Must abide by departments vaccination policy.
- Mandated Reporter Training.
- HIPAA certification upon hire.
- Must complete required Health Services credentialing process prior to start date
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position.
