DEPARTMENT: Housing
JOB SUMMARY: The Housing Services Specialist role ensures the Rental Voucher Program applicants & clients receive superior customer service, guaranteeing the best possible satisfaction through supportive and informative communication. Conduct verification of required documentation. Be accountable to outlined procedures for reviewing applications, conducting information review, and determining eligibility for clients. Reliable point of contact for Rental Voucher application assistance for the membership.
COMPENSATION: $27.62hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Associate Degree in Business, Business Management or related field. * Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Two (2) years of experience working in an office environment.
- Two (2) years of experience with confidential documents and information.
- Two (2) years of experience creating and maintaining efficient filing systems.
- Two (2) years of experience utilizing communication and public relations skills.
- Two (2) years of computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
- Two (2) years of experience working with budgets and maintaining current and accurate records.
SKILLS TESTING
- Typing 30 WPM
- Basic Math
- Correspondence
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- WA State Driver License. (Personal Auto Insurance)
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position.
