DEPARTMENT: TGA
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for processing applications of both tribal licenses and state certifications of key employees/primary management officials, permits, and vendors or its vendor employees of the Tulalip Gaming Organization (TGO); Tribal Government employment, Foster Care, Housing; Traditional Biologics Company employment and vendor approval; Quil Ceda Village employment. Provide follow-up and monitor the process from initial application to licensing determination and annual renewals. Maintain an efficient records system and set up new systems as required. Adhere to licensing and background requirements of the Tribal/State Compact, and its Appendices; Tulalip Tribal Code 10.05 Gaming; and the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act to include NIGC; 25 CFR Rules and Regulations; and Tulalip Tribes Backgrounds Investigation Policy; Tulalip Housing Background Check Policy, and Tulalip Tribal Code 15.40 Government Cannabis Code..
COMPENSATION: $23.25hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Three (3) years of experience working with the public and utilizing customer relation skills.
- Three (3) years of experience working with confidential records and information.
- Three (3) years of experience working with modern office procedures and protocol.
SKILLS TESTING
- Typing 25 WPM
- Memo Correspondence
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- Must be an enrolled member of the Tulalip Tribes of Washington.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- WA State Driver’s License. (Personal Auto Insurance)
- CJIS Security Awareness Training and FBI CJI system access authorization. *Will allow ninety (90) days to obtain.
- No negative/derogatory findings or pending criminal charges.
- Never been convicted of a felony crime.
- No convictions of any misdemeanor within two (2) years prior to application.
- Must be eligible for a Category A License as determined by a TGA background check.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position.
