DEPARTMENT: Community Health



 



 



JOB SUMMARY: The Media Specialist will support Community Health by developing and publicizing community health educational materials and events. Among other tasks, that includes working with Community Health leadership and Nursing team staff to identify and prioritize health prevention topics, key stakeholders, and select appropriate messaging strategies, managing contracts with vendors and project timelines to develop multimedia health education materials. Manage content development for the Tulalip Health System website as well as social media platforms for the department.



 



 



COMPENSATION:  $23.25hr.



 





MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION




  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Associates Degree in Communication, Marketing or related field preferred.

     



 



MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE




  • Three (3) years of experience working with tribal communities or tribal organizations.

  • Two (2) years of experience in communications or digital media required.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.

  • Experience working in marketing preferred.



 



 



REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES




  • WA State Driver’s License. (Personal Auto Insurance)

  • Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulation. (Abstract Required)

  • Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray.

  • HIPAA certification upon hire.

  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.



 



 



TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  This is a regular Full-Time position.
