DEPARTMENT: Health System Finance
JOB SUMMARY: The Grants and Contracts Administrator will identify, define and develop funding sources to support existing and planned program activities. As well as lead the development of writing, and submission of grant proposals to federal, state, and private funding agencies. The Writer will perform some administrative work researching, identifying, developing and responding to public and private grant opportunities in areas that support the Tulalip Health System programs. In addition to requesting work orders, purchase orders or any other type of documents that would be necessary in order to acquire goods or services from a supplier. The position is also responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on the performance of program activities that are funded by federal, state and private funding agencies.
COMPENSATION: $33.27hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or related field. *Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Three (3) years of experience working with grants including but not limited to; Developing and submitting grant applications, Award documents including Special Terms and Conditions, Budgets, Modifications, Reports.
- Three (3) years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience with Tribal Governments and Communities.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- WA State Driver’s License. (Personal Auto Insurance)
- Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray.
- CPR/First Aid certificate.
- Must abide by departments vaccination policy.
- HIPAA certification upon hire.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position.
