DEPARTMENT: Healing Lodge
JOB SUMMARY: This position assists and monitors residents living at our residential setting during the course of CD/MH treatment both day and evening along with any participatory activities to assure resident safety and compliance. Follow all policies and procedures of the Tulalip Tribal Government Employee Handbook in conjunction with Tulalip Tribes Healing Lodge on resident/staff rights, rules, incidents, activities, log reporting, and emergencies. This is a challenging position that requires a person to work with clients in various phases of chemical dependency recovery to ensure the guidelines are followed and clients are treated with care and support.
COMPENSATION: $21.44 hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- One (1) year working with diverse cultures, specifically Native American.
- One (1) year working experience utilizing Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
- Six (6) months working in an office environment
- Six (6) months working with clean and sober recovering individuals
- Six (6) months related experience required in working experience with the public, interacting with angry, upset, and/or intoxicated individuals
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES:
- WA State Driver’s License
- Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations. (Abstract Required)
- Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray.
- CPR and First Aid certification. *Will allow thirty (30) days from the start date to obtain.
- Food Handlers Permit. *Will allow thirty (30) days from the start date to obtain.
- HIPAA certification upon hire
- Must have no current misuse or abuse of alcohol or mind-altering chemicals or while employed.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular full-time position.
