DEPARTMENT:  Family Advocacy



 



 



JOB SUMMARY: Perform a variety of complex administrative and secretarial duties to support the Executive Director of Family Advocacy.  Manage office support activities. Compose correspondence, greet guests, answer and return phone calls, and respond to inquiries on behalf of the Executive Director. Maintain an organized and efficient records management system and take minutes for meetings, and process time and attendance. Assist the Executive Director with ongoing division work and special projects. Location changes during the week between the Children’s Advocacy Center, Legacy of Healing, and the Family Advocacy Building. Will work around children at all locations.



 



 



COMPENSATION:  $27.62 hr.



 





MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION




  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.




  • Associate Degree in Administrative Support, Business Management, or related field. *Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

     



 



MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE




  • Three (3) years of experience in administrative/clerical work in an office environment.

  • Three (3) years of experience compiling and maintaining data, documents and reports.

  • Three (3) years of experience with confidential documents and information.

  • Three (3) years of experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.



 



 



SKILLS TESTING




  • Typing- 30 WPM

  • Correspondence



 



 



REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES




  • WA State Driver License. (Personal Auto Insurance)

  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.



 



 



TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  This is a regular Full-Time position.
