DEPARTMENT:  Positive Youth Development



 



JOB SUMMARY:  Uphold a strong working relationship with the Marysville School District staff, including MSD Indian Education, to provide support and resources to our Native students. Works with existing tribal and other local programs (in and beyond the classroom) to coordinate programs and events for students and families. Provide culturally sensitive, positive youth development programming for youth. Assist with Education Division programs, events & activities. Work specifically within the boundaries of the Tulalip Indian Reservation.



 



COMPENSATION:  $25.31 hr.



 



MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION




  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.



 



MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE




  • Two (2) years’ experience working in a youth serving field, such as prevention, education, etc.

  • Two (2) years’ experience operating computers, including software such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Correspondence



 



REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES




  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • WA State Driver’s License and must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations. (Abstract Required)

  • CPR and First Aid certification *Will allow 6 months to obtain

  • Mandatory Reporting Training *Will allow 6 months to obtain 

  • Right Response Certification *Will allow 6 months to obtain 

  • Suicide Prevention Certificate *Will allow 6 months to obtain 

  • Mental Health First Aid Certificate *Will allow 6 months to obtain

  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.



 



TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  This is a regular Full-Time position.
