DEPARTMENT: Stan Jones Retirement Home



 



JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the personal care, safety and welfare of Retirement Home residents. Monitoring residents hourly and completing all duties on Daily Night Shift checklist. Documenting all activities and incidents on daily report and incident report.

 



COMPENSATION:  $19.82 hr.



The Signing Bonus is paid out in two installments:




  • 1st installment of the bonus is paid on your FIRST paycheck.

  • 2nd installment of the bonus is paid after successful completion of your 90 day probationary period.



Eligibility:




  • Signing bonuses are for select positions only and will be indicated on the job posting.

  • Current Employee department transfers are not eligible for signing bonus.

  • Any former Employee who has resigned or been dismissed within the past 12 months is not eligible for a signing bonus.



 



MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION




  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Annual 12 hours of continuing education. Education classes will be through Sunrise Caregiver Services selected by Administrator





MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE




  • One (1) year paid working experience in a nursing home, assisted living facility or private residence.



 



REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES




  • Current CNA License or Home Health Aide License with 75 hours of Core Basic Training including Orientation & Safety. Must maintain as a condition of continued employment

  • DSHS Mental Health Specialty Certificate. *Will allow 90 days from start date to obtain. 

  • DSHS Dementia Specialty Certificate. *Will allow 90 days from start date to obtain. 

  • DSHS Developmental Disabilities Certificate. *Will allow 90 days from start date to obtain. 

  • Nurse Delegation Certificate. *Will allow 90 days from start date to obtain. 

  • Nurse Delegation Diabetes Certificate. *Will allow 90 days from start date to obtain. 

  • CPR and First Aid certification. 

  • Food Worker Card. Must maintain as a condition of continued employment

  • Negative T.B. Test within three days of hire. 

  • HIPAA certification upon hire

  • Must abide by the department's vaccination policy

  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check. This includes fingerprinting as a requirement per WAC 388-78A-2462.



 



TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  This is a regular full-time position. Swing & Graveyard shift needed.
