Tribal Department: Family Haven
Job Summary: The Family Preservation Provider will work to improve family functioning in order to promote the children or adolescent’s health, safety, and welfare; and thereby allowing the family to remain intact and allow children to remain or return home. The goal of this service is to establish or restore safety in the child or youth’s home. Provide intervention and support to families as well as assisting in office work including but not limited to; paperwork, handle files, create documents, attend meetings and complete billing.
Compensation: $24.73 hr.
Education Required
- Bachelor degree in Social Work, Behavioral Science or closely related field.
Minimum Related Experience
- Three (3) years of direct casework experience working with families and children.
- One (1) year computer operations skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office products.
Required Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Social Worker or ability to obtain a registered counselor license with the state of Washington within 30 days from hire date.
- Must have a WA State Driver License and adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations. (Abstract Required)
- Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days from hire date.
- HIPAA certification upon hire.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
