Tribal Department: Positive Youth Development & Leadership


Job Summary: The School Advocate II upholds a strong working relationship with the Marysville School District staff, including MSD Indian Education, to provide support and resources to our Native students. Works with existing tribal and other local programs (in and beyond the classroom) to coordinate programs and events for students and families. Provides culturally sensitive, positive youth development programming for youth. Assists with Education Division programs, events & activities. Will work specifically within the boundaries of the Tulalip Indian Reservation.

Compensation:  $22.14


Education Required

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum Related Experience

  • Two (2) years’ experience working in a youth serving field, such as prevention, education, etc.
  • Two (2) years’ experience operating computers, including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Correspondence


Required Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Driver’s License and must adhere to the motor vehicle regulation. (Abstract Required)
  • CPR and First Aide Certificate. Will allow six (6) months to obtain.
  • Right Response and Suicide Prevention Certificate. Will allow six (6) months to obtain.
  • Mental Health First Aid and Mandatory Reporting Certificate. Will allow six (6) months to obtain.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful passing of these background checks.
