Department: Patient Services



Job Summary: To provide quality and timely non-emergent medical transportation, within the CHS delivery area, to enrolled American Indian and Alaskan Natives who are registered with the Health System for their health care, mental health or chemical dependency services.


Compensation: $16.64 hr.



Education Required

  • High School Diploma or GED. Employer will allow six (6) months to obtain


Minimum Related Experience:

  • One (1) year experience working as a driver or a client transporter

  • One (1) year experience working with HIPAA and confidentiality

  • One (1) year experience with diverse cultures, specifically Native Americans

  • Six (6) months of computer experience


Required Licenses/Certifications/Other

  • Valid and unrestricted Washington State Driver’s License and must adhere to the Tribal Motor Regulations (Abstract Required)

  • TB skin test required

  • Must be able to pass an agility exam to determine if physically capable of performing job duties.

  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificate. Employer will allow six (6) months to obtain.

  • HIPAA training upon hire

  • The Tulalip Tribes requires different levels of pre-employment background screening for all positions. Employment is contingent upon successful passing of these background checks



Terms of Employment: This is a Regular Full-Time position requiring 40 hours per week or 2080 hours per year.
