Tribal Department: Construction

Job Summary:  Responsible for monitoring and coordination of the construction of tribal government buildings, commercial buildings, and other construction projects. Under the direction of the Construction Superintendent or designee, has the authority to coordinate tribal construction projects and other related duties
 

Compensation:  $25.54 hr.

Minimum Required Education

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Associate Degree in related field. *Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Minimum Related Experience

• Four (4) years construction experience at a journeyman level in one or more of the building trades

• Two (2) years’ experience supervising construction workforce, cost estimation, and ordering materials

Required Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites

• WA State Driver's License and must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations (Abstract required)

• U.B.C Certification in residential/commercial construction. Employer will allow 18 months to obtain from start date.

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

Terms of Employment:  This is a regular Full-Time position.
